What the timer currently knows

Taiwan uses the official three-hour rule and a 15-minute entry window. Eight daily opening times are calculated from that rule and cross-checked with a community guide. The official examples omit 08:00; we disclose that gap instead of presenting the complete list as a direct quotation.

Korea uses a community-reported schedule in Asia/Seoul. Its portal entry duration is not verified here, so we show its next opening without claiming an active entry window. Global has no verified preset on this site.

Game imagery & video credits

AION 2 game imagery belongs to NCSOFT. Our hero and guide covers come from the official global website. The complete portal interface is from the official Taiwan rift guide, which illustrates its article with a Korean-language screenshot. Images are resized and compressed for the web; no game scene or interface has been generated or reconstructed.

The gameplay reveal shows an earlier build; the launch trailer introduces the game. Neither establishes current rift hours or entry requirements. Screenshot sample counts and timers are not live game data. This is an independent fan guide.

How the countdown is calculated

The timer converts regional server hours into UTC instants, then displays the same instants in your device time zone, server time, or UTC. Taiwan is UTC+8; Korea is UTC+9. Both use a fixed three-hour cycle in the current presets. Your device clock provides the current time; this site does not read game-server telemetry.

When schedules change

Maintenance, a regional patch, portal capacity, or a different activity can make a scheduled opening unavailable. The most recent in-game announcement takes priority. A regular Spacetime Rift is distinct from Rift Domination; their requirements and opening hours should not be combined.

Review dates describe a manual research check, not continuous monitoring. Before changing a preset, verify the region, patch date, server-clock reference, cycle anchor, and whether the source describes entry time or time spent inside. No calendar reminder can override a maintenance notice.
